Two great upcoming events for you
Join the Women in Quantum Mentor Program and sign up for QCHack 2022!
Hi Everyone,
It’s the first week of Spring and there is a lot going on, I’d like to bring you up to date on two events:
We are kicking off the next round of the Women in Quantum mentor program sponsored by Keysight Technologies. Please sign up if you are interested in being a mentor or mentee, we especially need more mentors and I encourage you to share your experiences with someone. If you sign up, you will receive an invite to our introductory events:
We would also like to let you know about QC Hack 2022, a week-long series of talks from academic and industry leaders, tutorials on quantum platforms, workshops, virtual small-group conversations with mentors, and networking events followed by a 24-hour virtual quantum hackathon. The bootcamp will start on April the 4th, and registration is open and free to everyone at:
This event is presented by the Quantum Coalition, a collaboration among students and enthusiasts from undergraduate quantum computing clubs at several universities, including Yale, Stanford, Berkeley and Duke. The event will be an opportunity to learn from professionals and connect with mentors from our partners, including IBM Quantum, Microsoft Azure Quantum, qBraid, QuTech, Atom Computing, and the Unitary Fund. There will be projects targeted at all levels of familiarity with quantum computing, and the events are open to any level of expertise.
If you belong to an undergraduate club which would like to be involved in the Quantum Coalition or an organization that is interested in partnering on future events, follow the link at the bottom of our website. The Quantum Coalition is excited and working hard to propose new challenges and to create a unique and impactful experience. Sign up to reserve your spot at the bootcamp, learn from industry mentors, network with peers, compete for exciting prizes, and receive QC Hack swag!
I look forward to seeing you all at both events-
Best,
Denise Ruffner
