We are so excited to get together in person on May 12 at the IQT Conference in San Diego. The conference is free on May 12th for any interested parties who want to attend in person by reaching out to marilyn@3dprint.com to get your free pass.
We will have a breakfast at 7:45 am sponsored by AWS. Come to the breakfast and meet Dr. Emma Rosenfeld of AWS and learn about careers at AWS.
Later in the day, at 10:55 am, we will have a fireside chat with Dr. Nadia Carlsten. Nadia has been a prominent contributor to the quantum ecosystem and she will talk to us about her new role, which will be announced this week.
I also want to thank Q-Ctrl for funding two students to attend IQT. Together with free event passes from the IQT team, Q-Ctrl is paying for travel and expenses for these two female graduate students who we are very excited to meet. Scholarships or paying for students to attend scientific meetings is an important part of Women in Quantum and you will hear more about our efforts in another newsletter.
I met with Q-Ctrl yesterday, and they are looking for employees for their new office in Berlin, Germany. Please take a look at this posting, and keep your eye on their website for more opportunities in their company:
We encourage you to apply for this job, Q-Ctrl is looking for diverse applicants.
I look forward to meeting you all in person on Thursday, May 12!
Best,
Denise Ruffner
